On Friday, July 3, 2020, the Puget Sound John Brown Gun Club participated in a memorial vigil for Stonechild Chiefstick (Stoney) in Poulsbo, Washington. The vigil was held at Muriel Iverson Williams Waterfront Park, where Stoney was killed by Poulsbo Police Officer Craig Keller one year prior, on July 3, 2019.

The community came out in force to honor the life of Stoney, of the Chippewa Cree and Cowichan tribes, and father of five. His life was celebrated through song and speeches by his family, friends, and other families who have lost loved ones to police violence.

Join us in supporting Stoney’s family and community’s continued demands for justice over his murder.
